Latisha James is a seasoned executive who is passionate about transforming communities through the development of corporate social responsibility engagement. Understanding the value of authentic relationships and the pivotal role and nuances of people, place and politics, she has developed and executed successful government and community relations strategies for some of Cleveland’s largest employers.

Prior to recently relocating to Virginia, Latisha served as the Director of Local Government Relations for The MetroHealth System (Northeast Ohio’s largest public health system) where she secured legislative approvals from elected and public officials to enable the construction of a new 52-acre medical campus, affordable housing and commercial development – an economic impact and investment of nearly $1 billion to the Greater Cleveland region. Latisha also led Case Western Reserve University’s community and government advocacy strategies for many initiatives ranging from education, health, community and economic development, among others.

A trusted relationship builder, Latisha has an impressive track record for successfully managing complex projects/issues and obtaining stakeholder consensus. Whether developing initiatives for members of Congress, Council, CEO or concerned citizens seeking resources for their family, Latisha’s exemplary career has positively impacted the quality of life for thousands of others.
