About the Event:
Join members of PRSA Hampton Roads for a relaxed summer evening social on Thursday, June 9 at 5 PM. We'll meet at Benchtop Brewing in the Chelsea District of Norfolk! Enjoy Benchtop’s great selection of brews and an evening of fun, fellowship, and festivities with fellow PRSA-HR members. One drink and light refreshments will be provided with registration. Tickets are $15.
Public Service Opportunity: Bring a Book!
PRSA Hampton Roads is supporting children’s literacy efforts by partnering with local nonprofit, REACH! Bring gently used children or young adult’s books to the June 9 social and be entered to win a door prize!
Thanks to PRSA-HR members who participated in our recent Public Service Committee poll. Members chose Children’s Literacy as a major cause to support this year. The non-profit REACH was established in 1998 with the goal of improving literacy and education for children ages 0-17, especially those living in poverty. The Chapter is collecting gently used children’s and young adult books for REACH through the summer. SAVE THE DATE: Sunday, August 21 from 12 to 6 p.m., to volunteer for a special event at REACH’s Big Bookstore at Military Circle Mall.
