    About the speakers

    April Sciacchitano is co-founder of Mix+Shine Marketing, a full-service digital marketing firm based in Virginia Beach, Va.  She is also co-host of The Corporate Dropout podcast, interviewing growing businesses about challenges and wins along their entrepreneurial journey. April helps health, nutrition and food/beverage clients get new and loyal customers using proven marketing strategies. She has led award-winning campaigns that have brought home PRSA Big Apple Awards, the PRSA Silver Anvil for reputation management, and more. April is a planner at heart and a trained facilitator for Google Design Sprints. Outside of work, she's capturing amazing spots for food and drink as a Google Local Guide - and chasing a toddler by the beach.

    Rachael Seda is co-founder of Mix+Shine Marketing, the Become a Marketing Pro Online Program, and the Co-Host of The Corporate Dropout podcast. She has created award-winning marketing and social media strategies for her clients, including creating virtual races for national women's running groups and establishing The Unbreakable Awards to celebrate women in health and fitness. Rachael has managed influencers and spokespeople for national campaigns, including Partnership for DrugFree.org, the UN Refugee Agency’s Blue Key Campaign, and more.

    Rachael is a trained Google Design Sprint facilitator, and leverages this signature process to help consumer packaged goods clients take their branding and strategy from zero to done in just 5 days. She has a passion for digital strategy, and was named to Top Rank’s 25 Women Who Rock Social Media in 2013. She was also a featured guest on PR Newswire’s #ConnectChat on Twitter, which featured her social advice on a billboard in Times Square.

    In her spare time, Rachael enjoys running, chasing her two little ones, planning parties and traveling with her husband (if she’s being honest, preferably without the kids). You will find Rachael on @mixandshinepr on Instagram.
