Learn what to do to prepare for a crisis and how to handle it once it strikes. You’ll hear directly from someone who has handled natural and manmade crises while working for an urban police department, international non-profit and institution of higher education.

An expert in crisis communications, reputation management and media relations, Cynthia Price leads the University of Richmond’s media and public relations efforts, which has led to placements with 60 Minutes, The Washington Post, USA Today, Fast Company and more. She began her career as a newspaper reporter and then launched a business magazine for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. She spent a decade as the spokesperson for an urban police department with high-profile cases that often-made headlines. She also led communications efforts, including its rebranding, for ChildFund International.
